Reflexology helps reduce pain, ease stress, and support your body’s natural healing—by working specific pressure points in your feet that connect to your whole body.
At It’s All About You Massage & Relaxation in Kamloops, reflexology is a therapeutic treatment designed to support the nervous system, improve circulation, and help the body heal naturally. With 16 years of reflexology experience, I’ve seen how effective this treatment can be for people dealing with pain, stress, and ongoing health concerns.

What Is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a hands-on therapy where pressure is applied to specific points on the feet. Each of these points connects to organs, glands, and systems in the body.
When these points are worked:
The body relaxes
Blood flow improves
Tension is released
The nervous system calms down
Many people think reflexology is “just a foot massage,” but it’s actually a full-body therapy that happens through the feet.

What Does Reflexology Help With?
From my experience, reflexology is helpful for everyone, but I see it especially benefit clients who are dealing with:
Foot pain (like plantar fasciitis)
Neuropathy
Chronic pain
Digestive issues
Stress and anxiety
Cancer support
Pregnancy support (including helping induce labour)
Reflexology is also safe for everyone, and it works well on its own or as part of a regular massage routine.
The Top Benefits Clients Notice Most
Over the years, clients consistently tell me they notice three main results after reflexology:
1. Less Foot Pain
Clients with plantar fasciitis or sore feet often feel relief right away. Many choose to come in monthly to keep their pain under control.
2. Reduced Chronic Pain
Reflexology helps calm the nervous system, which can reduce pain throughout the body—not just in the feet.
3. Lower Stress and Anxiety
Most clients feel deeply relaxed during the session and more balanced afterward. Some even say they sleep better the same night.
Real Results I’ve Seen Over the Years
I’ve worked with many long-term clients who come in regularly for reflexology. Over time, I’ve seen clear improvements in their overall health.
Clients often tell me:
Their foot pain is much better
Their symptoms are easier to manage
They feel more balanced and calm
When clients keep coming back month after month because they feel better, that tells me one thing: Reflexology works.
What a Reflexology Session Is Like at Our Kamloops Spa
Reflexology at It’s All About You Massage & Relaxation is designed to be both therapeutic and deeply relaxing.
We offer two options, depending on what you prefer:
Option 1:
A warm foot soak with Epsom salt and aromatherapy, followed by reflexology while you relax on a heated memory foam massage table.
Option 2:
You lie on a heated memory foam bed while we begin with an aromatherapy neck, facial, and scalp massage, followed by reflexology and finished with a hot stone leg and foot massage.
Many clients also enjoy combining reflexology with other treatments. Heat-based services like hot stone massage can help muscles relax even more deeply.
What Does Reflexology Feel Like?
Everyone experiences reflexology a little differently.
During the session:
Some areas may feel tender
Most people feel deeply relaxed
Many drift into a calm, quiet state
After the session:
Many clients feel better right away
Some notice changes over the next few days
Some book a follow-up within a week for extra support
Just like massage, your body continues to respond after you leave.
Common Reflexology Myths (And the Truth)
Myth: “It’s just a foot massage.” Truth: Reflexology works with the entire body, not just your feet.
Myth: “It’s only for relaxation.” Truth: Reflexology is therapeutic and supports organ and body system function.
My goal is always healing—not just relaxation.
How I Decide What’s Best for Each Client
In my experience, reflexology works beautifully on its own—but it also pairs well with massage.
I honestly believe that ending any massage with reflexology adds extra benefits and helps the body reset.
Every session is adjusted based on:
Your pain levels
Your stress
Your health goals
